Right out of the box, the included silver-colored USB microphone simply needs to be plugged into the USB port on top of the PSP. There's a dial on the left side of the device, which turns a screw to fasten the microphone to the handheld. The MIC itself is situated at the right end of the tube-like gadget. We sure hope that Sony and third-party developers will utilize this nice peripheral for other games and software in the future but that is not given. 

First things first: Setting Preferences and Creating a Profile



Starting Talkman, you are asked to choose your own language, all operations and functions of the title will be in your selected language then (this can easily be changed throughout the "game" later on should you want to). So, for all hesitating western importers: if you choose English, everything, including all menus and navigation will be in English. Moving on, we were greeted by a Sony note, basically saying that in case of an emergency you should look for someone who speaks your own language to help you rather than relying on Talkman.
