We've all seen the Revolution controller. So will Nintendo survive the next generation? How will consumers react?
Before we begin here, let’s all ask ourselves one question. Have we ever, and I mean ever, in the history of videogames, cared about what the controller packed in with our new system looked like? Don’t get me wrong; I had some choice words for the awkward Nintendo 64 controller with that toothpick analog stick. The original Xbox controller left us all guessing whether we were playing Halo, or doing some toning in our forearms, but even they admitted that one and released the S-type later on.
Why is the top story in gaming this month about Nintendo’s new controller for the Revolution?
The answer is simple. It is that different.
