Even though the Xbox 360 still hasn’t been released, there is information about the console all over the Internet. Some of the most interesting is the accessories the Xbox 360 will have. Brochures leaked onto the Internet detail every accessory that will be available at launch for the Xbox 360, and by the looks of things Microsoft are committed to making the Xbox 360 more than just a game console.
The most important part of any console is the controller, and Microsoft have not disappointed. There are two versions of their controller, one which plugs into one of the Xbox 360s USB ports and another version that connects wirelessly. Both have the same functionality. They look easy to use, sticking with the tried and tested Xbox-S controller, but it is not completely identical. One of the features MS have been hyping up is the guide button, which can bring up the Xbox 360 menu, where you can watch movies, listen to music, or anything your Xbox 360 can do when it is not even playing a game.
If you want to charge up your Xbox 360 wireless controller, you will also have to get a Play & Charge kit which also includes a rechargeable battery pack. This bugs me because it costs more money, and you need one for every wireless controller you have. In my opinion MS should have included this with the controller, but if they did it would probably cost the same since they would just add the price to the controller itself. If you don’t want to shell out for the Play & Charge kit, then you can always use disposable AA batteries. But, if you don’t get the play and charge kit then you will probably end up paying more in the long run.
