Rock and freedom go together like gamers and lack of sex.

3) TAC Freedom V Guitar Hero Controller (PS2)
RRP: $49.95

If you’ve played Guitar Hero, you know what a kick-in-the-ass blast it is, and if you haven’t played, you need to…like, now. There is not much more fun that rockin’ out hardcore to your favorite tunes and doing your best Hendrix/Slash/The Edge/Prince (keep it clean, kiddies)/Joe Satriani impression. The only bummer is not being able to flail around willy-nilly with your guitar controller due to the constraints of cords. Well NO LONGER, dudes!!! The Freedom V has dispensed with the tethers and created a WIRELESS guitar controller. Now you can jump, spin, do the splits, and kick without having to worry about pulling your console off of its stand, or disconnecting your controller. All you have to worry about is pulling something, possibly in the groinial area. Plus, the Freedom V has a cool form factor too. Rock on, my friends, rock on!

It's like driving a real car, but you can do it drunk on Egg Nog and not get arrested.

2) Logitech G25 Racing Wheel (PC, PS2)
RRP: $299.99

Metal parts, a full pedal array (including a clutch), leather wrapped wheel and gear shift, dual force feedback motors and 900 degrees of rotation. What more could you ask for? Logitech has created a driving fan’s wet dream with their G25 Racing Wheel. Sure it comes with a premium price tag, but this is a premium peripheral. If you can afford/borrow/steal/ask mom/trade blood for it, you really can’t find a better, sub-1000 dollar racing wheel on the market. If you are a PC or PS2 driving sim fan, go…buy it…now!
