KontrolFreek Makes FPS Thumbstick for Your Thumbstick

KontrolFreek, maker of Xbox 360 controller accessories announces their FPS Freek

While still a prototype, KontrolFreek yesterday announced and opened up preorders for their newest toy, the FPS Freek. It's literally a thumbstick that sits on top of your 360's thumbstick (right mainly, since that's the typical aiming stick), and is meant to ease some of the difficulty in slight aiming changes.

It may look like overkill at first glance, but they do give a great point, which is that because of the spring inside the thumbstick is tightest when moved just off-center, it's hardest to make slight aiming adjustments. Because you actually have more room to move the thumbstick with the FPS Freek, it makes that 20% area that's so hard to aim easier.

It's a good idea, and for the small price of $10 for two, it's a deal that any serious FPS player can't let up.
