Vista Lawsuit Brings Failed NVidia Drivers to Light

Internal emails at Microsoft bring to light Vista crashes and their main causes

Ever wonder why Vista is so unstable? Fear no more, as Microsoft already knows the main reasons. Hell, it's their operating system, they'd better know.

So what is it? Amazingly, it's your NVIDIA drivers, mostly. That's right, the curent top-of-the-foodchain videocard maker is the main reason behind all the fuss. In the larger scale of things, NVIDIA seems to be the biggest threat to all Vista computers out there...like a virus, just eating away at both the machines and our hearts.

We already knew NVIDIA had sloppy drivers, but this is just sad. ATI is way down at 9.3%, a little more than half of what Microsoft claims. But since we're not going to change our expensive videocards, might as well go back to the smaller, less intensive Microsoft OS, which will have SP3 come out soon.
