No New DS Model, Says Nintendo; Stop Listening To Rumors

Nintendo denies the recent reports that a new DS model will be revealed at E3

Not too long ago, we brought you news that Bloomberg Japan thought a new DS model was in the works. Why? Because Famitsu said they expected it, and they're the bloody authority on what goes on in the games industry in Japan.

Who knew that Nintendo had any say in what they do? Apparently not us, since we figured that a new model wouldn't be so odd, though it did seem somewhat premature. Alas, Nintendo spoke with IGN to clear the whole thing up so there wouldn't be too many disappointed fans come E3 this year, which, may I remind you, is only exactly two months away.
