Razer DeathAdder Mac Edition Announced, Reviewed First on GWN

Razer's latest announcement of the DeathAdder with OS X compatibility is reviewed first at Gameworld Network

When was the last time you saw a good mouse get better? Probably never, considering most companies make a mouse and leave it at that. But where most companies see extra work with limited benifits, Razer saw opportunity.

Razer, maker of high-end gaming peripherals such as the Lachesis mouse, Destructor mousepad and Piranha headset, decided to go where no one has really gone before: a gaming mouse for Macs.

It may seem like a stretch, considering most PC users envision Macs to be those all-in-one machines that are incompatible with everything, play relatively no games compared to PC's and don't even have good hardware to play any of those games anyways. While this has been true in the past, it is certainly changing now, if ever so slowly.

That's why Razer got into the game, saying "piss off!" to Apple's Mighty Mouse. Who needs that glossy freakshow when you can pour 1800dpi and one of Razer's previously best mice all over the system? Well, now you can.

How's it work? We tested it for ourselves, both on PC and Mac. It met our demanding eyes and stood tall, proclaiming "I am limited to no OS!"
