Pure Pwnage mods Rock Band into achieving 100% on the most difficult song with the guitar

We mentioned awhile back how Guitar Hero 3 was modded to get high scores, and both marveled and scoffed at how and why it was done. This time, however, is more marveling.

Yes, we agree that Rock Band's guitar playing is easier than GH3's, though RB's hardest song, Green Grass and High Tides, is excrutiatingly long. It wouldn't come to any surprise that even the best videogame guitar players would struggle to get 100% on it.

So what do you do if you can't? Hack it. The 8-minute video shows exactly what Pure Pwnage did to make the magic happen, and it really isn't about actually getting that 100%. It's about how they made it all come together. Anyone interested in taking apart and putting together electronics will find it interesting, so take a look.
