Japan has had it for the last far too long compared to the US. Considering how useful GPS systems are (even if they tend to be stupid and unresponsive), it's amazing that we haven't gotten one on the PSP yet. Well, we as in not Japan.

Thankfully, they haven't forgotten us. Sony is just taking their sweet time, and they plan to roll out the GPS on both UMD and on a memory stick. It'll also come with car kit to keep it secure and a keyboard so typing in destinations doesn't take forever.

Though if my experience with GPS systems has tought me anything, it's that touchscreen is always better on a GPS. Then again, a full keyboard is also rather pleasant sounding, and could have many additional uses over just the GPS. I'd be more concerned about the brightness level of the screen and battery life.
