Acer reveals the G24, first 50,000:1 contrast ratio monitor


50,000:1? Really? Most monitors are a tenth of that, and even high quality TV's may reach 15,000:1 if they're lucky. And if they're expensive. So how the hell is this monitor 50,000:1? No idea. But if it's my guess, either the monitor is super expensive, meant for extremely rich people, or it's really crappy in every other way.

Lets hope for the former.
