This setup also has the advantage of approximating a high-end gaming PC setup, which makes this test a great way to tell if the ModXStream can keep a steady supply of juice flowing to components when needed – like when your graphics card kicks into high gear to render a firefight online, for example.
The computer passed through the stress test without any issues, a testament to the ModXStream’s stability. That’s very good news for gamers: even though the ModXStream has “made for hardware enthusiasts” written all over it, gamers and overclockers alike can take solace in the notion that the ModXStream will cater to your power supply needs.

Conclusions
Overall, OCZ has done exactly what I’d hoped: they’ve taken an already strong power supply and added the one major missing feature without messing up any of the great features. While I could nitpick about the selection of cables, overall I’m very pleased with the ModXStream and would recommend it over OCZ’s GameXStream products (unless you need over 900 watts) because of how good it is.
