Ultra M998 ATX Mid-Tower PC Case

Another area where the M998 excels is in the air flow department. The two included 120 mm fans (one in front and one in back) coupled with the spacious interior ensure plenty of circulation. Add on a side vent with telescoping duct that sits directly above your CPU fan and you have yourself a very cool case (literally). For additional air flow, the CPU air duct can be removed, an 80 mm fan can be mounted to the case wall, and the air duct can be mounted to the opposite side of the fan. With this configuration, outside air can be blown directly onto the CPU cooling system.

The sliding MoBo tray shows chrome in the back.

Conclusion:

While I was not blown away by the M998, I was definitely quite satisfied. Minor engineering gripes and quality control issues aside, the M998 offers some very cool features. With great air circulation, efficient power cord management, and attractive form factor, you could do a lot worse in a computer case. At $199.99 I feel that the M998 is a bit overpriced, but not prohibitively so.

Highs
Great air circulation; Attractive appearance; Unique and efficient power cable management.

Lows
Construction quality is slightly disappointing; Poor documentation; Expensive.

Final verdict
Although I feel it is a bit overpriced for what you get, there is still a lot to like about the M998.
