A Headset That's a Traveler's Delight

Introduction

The Razer piranha is an interesting headset. Upon first glance it looks like a USB headset with an additional 3.5mm your stereo and microphone jack. The opposite is closer to the truth. Closer inspection reveals that the Piranha headset is strictly a 3.5mm headset and that the USB cable is just optional. This was a bit confusing so it should be noted that this is not a USB headset.

Razer, a company known for its computer gaming peripherals, released the Piranha with the understanding that it should be a high-end non-USB headset, and that’s exactly what it is. Coming in at about $80, the Piranha has quite a bite both as a standard pair of headphones and a headset with a microphone.
