Even the cables have some stylistic swagger. Ultra’s FlexForce cables are thin and flexible, allowing you to route them easily and hide them when necessary. Even if they are visible, the cables are a cool silver and look right at home with even heavily modded rigs.
Overall, the X2 is one of the coolest looking power supplies I have ever seen. The polished titanium really stands out, and the awesome UV glow put out by the internal lighting is really slick. The only complaint that I would have is that because he unit is polished to such a reflective surface, fingerprints show up like crazy. Still, if you are careful to wipe the unit down after installation, this problem can be easily remedied.

That is one pretty power supply!
Performance
The attributes that Ultra was shooting for with the X2 are important to all hardcore computer folks, these being consistent output, solid circulation and ease of cable installation and routing. On most fronts the X2 performs admirably.
Bear in mind that I am testing this unit on a rig that by today’s standards is decidedly not high-end. My set-up is as follows: 3GHz Pentium HT CP, GeForce 6800 Ultra video card, 2 GHz RAM, Audigy 2 ZS sound card, 2 HDs, and 2 DVD drives.
As you can see, my rig is by no means capable of stress testing the 750W beast that is the X2, however for my uses, I had absolutely no issues. Output never dropped below the advertised output, regardless of what apps I had running.
