Nyko's Zero is ready to rumble

It wasn’t long ago that we saw Kaz Hirai on stage at E3 stating that force feedback was in the past, and Sony was looking forward. We don’t mill over that much these days, but nearly every PlayStation 3 game produced this year, as well as many last year, were made with rumble in mind. Japan has their hands on the Dualshock 3, but the rest of the world has to wait until April 15th or later for their chance to experience rumble. No longer.

The original PS2 Zero controller was known as the high-end PS2 controller. Those who had it used it proudly over the typical, standard controller. Even according to Nyko the Zero is their 'serious-business' peripheral, not just an add-on or an extra piece of hardware, but a different, well built second option from the 1st and 3rd party controllers.

That principle holds true with the PS3 model of the Zero controller. It's built strong, smart, and ready for action against the likes of the SIXAXIS. But how does it match up against it?

There are some pretty glaring differences in looks and feel, as well as how it plays. We spent quite a bit of time play testing it against the SIXAXIS, and you may be surprised by our findings.
