Gelaskins

For the DS, I tried something different. I gave it to my younger brother to walk around his school with, playing whenever he had a chance, as well as using it myself in public. Because of the skin, he said that there were a lot more reactions from his friends and schoolmates, though they of course knew him. However, I also had more reactions, and it is undoubtedly due to the more interesting design.

Here’s a quick walkthrough of exactly what it took to put the Gelaskin on the DS, which was the most difficult skin to put on out of the three.

To begin with, start by cleaning the DS (or whatever the skin will go on) thoroughly.

Gently place the skin correctly on one side, then use a finger to caress the air out. Make sure everything aligns properly.

For the inside of the DS, it's important to make sure that everything's perfect. The buttons are obvious things to watch out for, but the speakers are just as important.

Here we see minor casualties that couldn't be avoided for whatever reason.

It unfortunately occured on both sides.

The back covers also have skins for them, which bend according to the DS.

They come specially made with holes for the stylus and power slide.

How can anyone not look at this picture and just say out loud "robot!"

The complete skin, done to near perfection on the inside...

...and out. Though it does look better from the back.
