The weight box is one of the most interesting components that's included with the Stinger. The box houses seven foam compartments for storing 20gram weights that resemble a small watch battery. These weights can be inserted individually into the underbelly of the Stinger in order to increase the weight of the mouse to provide a feel that the user is most comfortable with.

Functionality-wise, the Stinger's varied dpi settings make it a snap to switch from movement to sniper mode with the click of a button. The color-coded scroll wheel makes it easy to keep track of which mode you're in and you can choose to have acesss to pretty much as many or as few modes as you want. It's also worth noting that the Stinger moves just as smoothly on your desktop as it does in the FPS world.
Design-wise, prepare to be the envy of your nerdy brethren. The Stinger comes with a bad-ass red and black paint job, and even a red cord. The mouse is illuminated beautifully with its multi-colored scroll wheel along with a target insignia that glows bright red at all times. The grip is also far more concave than its fore-mentioned Intelli-Scope cousin and is coated with non-slip rubber, allowing for fewer accidental side-button presses and far more comfort.

All in all, the Stinger is arguably one of the best gaming mice currently available. At around $45 it's also reasonably priced for a mouse of its quality, although non-PC gamers may question its value. After all, it was built strictly with hardcore FPSers in mind.
