A strong push for hardcore mobile gaming

Laptops have been selling much more than PC’s for a long while now, and every year the gap between them grows in sales. A full blown desktop computer may be $500 cheaper than an equally powered laptop, but there are some things that laptops just don’t have or can’t do. Laptops cannot be exceptional game machines for several reasons: their small size limits the parts that can be used, the available parts are underpowered compared to standard PC parts, heat issues, and they’re very, very expensive.

Alienware, disregarding this rule, pumps out hardcore gaming laptops year after year. The company recently released its newest addition to the lifestyle for gamers on the go with the m15x. This 15.4” laptop isn’t just suitable for gamers with loaded pockets: anyone looking for a desktop replacement or a powerful laptop on the go can pick one up for as low as $1499, a bargain for a high-end brand such as Alienware.

I recently sat down with the m15x for some serious testing. I put it through its paces and used it for everything for a full month.
