While the iSkin Neo is undeniably stylish and conceptually cool, the poorly engineered form factor causes it to lose a lot of its functionality.

iSkin has built a reputation primarily for producing quality rubber protective cases for Apple’s iPod line of MP3 players. With their latest product, the iSkin Neo the company takes its first step into the portable gaming market. Unfortunately that first step is more of a stumble than a stride.



Appearance

Let’s get this straight from the jump-off. The iSkin Neo is a very nice looking case. Available in 5 colors of soft lambskin, the case simply exudes class. The straps, snaps, pockets and lining are all very high quality, and integrate quite nicely into the overall design. Taking the large number of soft cases available for the PSP into account, the Neo really stands out as the nicest looking. Then again, at a premium price of 49.00, it should be the nicest looking.
