This was a problem that I experienced with all three included sizes of gel earpiece. It may be that the shape of my ear makes it difficult to hold this form factor, as I have had similar problems with some other phones, but I haven’t had this problem with EVERY set I’ve ever owned. When the headphones are improperly seated there is significant drop-off in the low end frequencies, but again, this is only when the phones are not correctly worn.
Conclusion
Twenty dollars is a very reasonable price for the level of performance that you get out of the Logitech PlayGear Stealth. While I had some problems with getting the unit to stay properly seated, when they were the sound quality was very comparable to more expensive earbuds that I own. Overall these are a solid set of headphones designed around easy travel.
