The only place the X-Arcade stumbles is in practicality. Because the X-Arcade trackball mouse is a specialty unit it's just not worth the money if your a casual gamer that plays three or four games that are compatible with a trackball.
If you happen to be a huge arcade fan and play MAME, golf, bowling, and pinball games non-stop then you can't get any closer to the original arcade style without actually buying the actual cabinet. Any new game that is played with a mouse is compatible with the X-Arcade but in most cases they just don't fair as well as with a regular mouse. There are a few rare cases where a game, such as the Tiger Woods PGA Tour series, just plays much better and gives you a much higher form of control.
Even though the X-Arcade trackball mouse is certainly a specialty device, if you absolutely need to get an arcade trackball then the X-Arcade is the one to get. Also, since the X-Arcade is much cheaper than any of it's competitors the device is worth the $130 if your going to use it frequently. With it's combination of arcade perfect controls, solid design, and ease of use the X-Arcade trackball mouse is a solid choice for all your arcade trackball needs.
