Universal Challenge Wheel

The Universal Challenge wheel in some cases doesn't seem quite as responsive as it needs to be when doing sharp cornering or hard turns. You might find yourself needing to use the d-pad after a spinout or crash so that you can get back underway quickly. It almost seems like there is a slight lag in response, but it may have more to do with the small size than with the wheel itself.

The Thrustmaster Universal Challenge Racing Wheel probably isn't going to make the cut when it comes to serious racing game fans. But if you're a casual gamer looking for a decent and affordable racing wheel, you probably can't go wrong. Once you get the feel for this well constructed, universal wheel, you'll have a good time blazing around the track.

Lackluster responsiveness and small size means that older gamers should possibly look elsewhere.
