After Spin Technology is the method used to cool the PSU, and aids in prolonging the life of its components. The fan RPM rate is raised and lowered depending on the temperatures inside the case, but is always whisper quiet. The chassis and CPU fan connectors remain active after the PC is powered down, allowing the system to cool after use as well.
What I like personally is the force flex slim cables. These cables allow for increased airflow throughout the casing, further dissipating residual heat from the unit. The flex cables are much more easily routable to drive and motherboard connections than standard cables. This allows multiple configurations for the many diverse systems the X-finity can support.
The X-finity is supported by both AMD and Intel motherboards and comes ready for the ATI Crossfire and Nvidia SLI graphics cards, so you can expect high level performance for all your gaming needs. It won't leave you broke either, for a cost of $119.99 USD, and has a three year warranty by Ultra. I'd say this is a more than worthy PSU upgrade, and it should provide the serious gamer with all the power he or she needs, and then some!
