Surprisingly, Microsoft hasn’t enabled video messages – which I thought would be there at day one. Another big problem is that not too many games support Xbox Live currently outside of UNO. I have played UNO to death the past week messing around with gamers that are curious to know why I have a camera and where they can buy one. The set-up for UNO is simple; the camera acts as a web cam as you play with three other users. I must warn parents that the cameras could end up being used for illicit images that children may not want to see, such as people ‘mooning’ other players.

The last feature I want to speak about is the option to change your gamertag picture to whatever you feel like. No longer will you have to use a dull and boring picture of Amped 3, but you are able to snap a picture of anything your heart desires. Whether it is a picture of yourself or your dog, customized gamertag pics will turn out to be incredibly popular.

Out of the box it's even more beautiful.

Xbox Live Vision comes with a long USB cord that is maneuverable to place anywhere. There’s a ring around the lens to allow the user to focus the camera, which will come in handy when you constantly are changing your distance from the camera. The only disappointing attribute to the camera is that you can’t focus the camera via the Xbox 360 controller.

The Xbox Live Vision is slated for release on September 19th, 2006. There are two packages planned for retailers.
