A good addition to any flight sim fan’s collection, if you can afford the US$150 price tag.
This is just one more weapon in my arsenal, working my way to the ultimate flight simulator cockpit. Although not what would be deemed necessary to properly control your craft, these rudder pedals add more realism to your flight experience.

Pro Flight Rudder Pedals come with a ‘one size fits all’ scheme, but pedal size and resistance adjustments allow easy customization.
Feeling the pedals over with your hands the smooth plastic they are constructed of is not what you would initially expect. I thought “what would keep these pads from sliding across the hardwood floor besides the small rubber feet placed on the bottom?” Saitek thought ahead and provided 2 nicely sized 10” Velcro strips that can be mounted to the bottom of the setup and to the floor in the placement of your choosing. Once placed this controller is, as Detective Greenly would say, “goin’ nowhere!”
What was remarkable about the controller is that not only does it support yaw (side to side) control, but depressing the pedals can also be designated as braking for your aircraft. Added resistance control allows you to adjust the resistance to your preferences. The foot pedals can shorten or extend depending on the size of your feet for extra control.

Resistance controls, foot length and base extenders make a very sturdy set up that is comfortable to use in long gaming sessions.
Installation was extremely simple as is the Saitek way. Simply install the software, plug the unit in and begin gaming. As a courtesy, Saitek also encloses a small booklet that shows quick tutorials for setting up the most popular Flight Sims that work with the pedal. I chose to test the unit with Lock On: Modern Air Combat. The game immediately recognized the hardware and it was off to test it in the air.
