Razer Tarantula
Home : Hardware : Reviews : Razer Tarantula

The Tarantula is very comfortable to use, even if you have long spider-like hands that frighten the village children… like I do. Now we come to something very close to my heart as far as keyboards are concerned: Clack! Every keyboard has a different keystroke sound, from the solid click of ye olde keyboards to the “I just tapped a marshmallow” sound of modern models. What most of us want is something in the middle, which is what the Tarantula provides. After careful consideration and conferring with top men, we have identified it as “Movie Clack” which is the high tech noise of computer hackers and spies in film. Don’t look at me like that, this is important stuff.

Need more glow? We gotcha covered.

It seems to me that Razer went above and beyond on the Tarantula. Creativity meets consumer consideration in this top notch piece of hardware. When we can’t find anything not to like, there’s only one score we can give it… perfect.

Highs
Customizable keys, BATTLEDOCK, flashy lights, audio ports, USB ports, great response, the whole sha-bang.

Lows
Price is high , but it's worth it.

Final verdict
Creativity meets consumer consideration in this top notch piece of hardware.
